Nestled in the scenic landscape of Pahoia, this recently completed Japanese-style garage offers a unique blend of functionality and elegance, with thoughtful features for both leisure and practicality.
This build includes a sunroom, a guest bathroom, and a spacious three-car garage, designed with versatility in mind. The sunroom combines outdoor textures and indoor comfort, featuring exposed rafters, recessed lighting, and stunning steel joinery. This tranquil space is perfect for enjoying morning coffee, with plans to install a green wall to enhance its connection to nature.
The expansive three-car garage is more than just a parking area. It doubles as an entertainment space for family gatherings and celebrations. Key highlights include a custom wine cellar and feature ceiling lighting, offering various colour options to set the mood. There’s also a designated area for artwork, with special lighting to showcase pieces in a striking manner.
Building this garage came with its own set of challenges. The 35-degree high roofline and large, heavy trusses, some weighing up to 400 kilos, required precise craftsmanship and teamwork. With no architraves or skirtings, every finish had to be meticulously measured and executed perfectly. The result is a seamless, minimalist look highlighting the beauty of clean lines and open spaces.
