Troy is the brains behind the operation, the man who turns your dream home into a reality.
Troy’s the go-to guy when it comes to client relations. He truly lives and breathes the tagline “building family homes with family values” and is passionate about treating every customer like a mate or family member.
Whether it’s a new project or an ongoing one, Troy’s the guy who ensures that the client’s vision is at the forefront, turning those visions into actual bricks and mortar.
Troy was born and bred in Katikati and prides himself on being a Bay of Plenty local, understanding the land, council requirements and people through and through.
As a qualified builder, Troy always intended to start his own building company so together him and Bryar made that dream a reality and established Davy Construction in 2013.
Troy drives the team culture at Davy and it is not hard to see that the culture is what sets Davy apart from the rest.
Bryar
Bryar is busy keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine. From tracking budgets to keeping the schedules as organised as possible, Bryar’s got it all under control.
Bryar keeps her finger on the pulse with the financials, she has a keen eye for detail ensuring the back end of the business is running smoothly.
So, while Troy and the team are out there building dreams, Bryar’s making sure that the financial foundations are solid, the cash flow is steady, and the business sails through the financial waters.

Matt
Matt’s driving the project ship at Davy Construction. He’s been with us for four years, starting out as a Foreman and then working his way up to the title of Project Manager.
He’s the one making sure the right people, gear, and materials are in the right place at the right time. And when a curve ball is thrown, he’s the one there to catch it, makes the tough call and keeps the ship sailing smoothly.
Matt spent a couple of years building in the UK, learning the ropes and gaining invaluable skills before returning back to New Zealand to grow his career with Davy Construction.
Matt is always first to put his hand up for a social function! His heart is bigger than the Southern Alps and his kindness is invaluable to the team and clients he works with.
Mark
Mark serves as a Site Supervisor at Davy Construction, using his expansive 25+ years of experience to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Holding a New Zealand Certificate of Carpentry (Level 4), his guidance is instrumental to the success of numerous projects.
Vaughan
Vaughan started his journey with Davy Construction as an Apprentice and has since climbed the ranks to become our Foreman and a fully qualified builder. His dedication ensures every project’s success, and his warm approach makes every construction journey a pleasant one for everyone involved.
Lyndon
21 years of exceptional service has lead Lyndon to the role of Site Supervisor. With his NZ Certificate of Carpentry (Level 4), Lyndon’s leadership and work ethic are pivotal to the business and he is always focused on getting the job done to a high standard. Outside of work, kayak fishing and mountain biking are among his favourite pursuits.
Oli
Oli, now a fully qualified builder at Davy Construction, continues to impress with his skills, attitude, and commitment to delivering the best for customers. His dedication has been widely recognised, including earning a finalist spot in the Bay of Plenty Apprentice of the Year awards.
Nick
Nick is our Foreman and quiet achiever of the team with over 17 years’ experience as a qualified builder. He’s been striving for perfection since day one, even on high end builds. A steady worker, Nick is also a brilliant communicator who embodies a ‘no surprise’ policy with all our customers.
Shaun
Shaun is a fully qualified builder with an outstanding attitude and work ethic. Every Foreman wants him on their site, knowing he brings reliability, skill, and professionalism to every project. Punctual, respectful, and always willing to go the extra mile, he’s the dream team member and a fantastic builder.
Dan
Dan is a Qualified Builder, bringing with him 8 years of industry experience. With a New Zealand Certificate of Carpentry (Level 4) under his belt, he is an essential part of our team’s success. Dan’s precise craftsmanship and knowledge are evident in each project he undertakes. Off the job, he can be found on the golf course.
