Omokoroa
Nestled in the picturesque Omokoroa, this 250m² four-bedroom home captures the charm and elegance of old English style.
We built this home in 2018, and it is full of unique touches and historical charm. Traditional timber-weighted sash windows add to the old English feel, while the carefully chosen materials and finishes complete the colonial look.
Inside, you’ll find colonial-style skirting and architraves, fibrous scotia, and other period details that make the old English charm come alive. The centrepiece of the home is an old English Aga, shipped straight from England, which is used for both cooking and heating. Radiators throughout the house are powered by the Aga, keeping the home warm and cozy.
The spacious living areas are designed to balance everyday living with room for guests, and the open-plan kitchen and dining area, centred around the Aga, is perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are designed to blend comfort and modern style.
This home is a beautiful blend of timeless old English design and modern functionality, showcasing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Every detail, from the sash windows to the colonial skirting, reflects the homeowner’s desire for a space that marries historical charm with everyday convenience.
